Ingredients

  • 1 each pie crust (prepared)
  • 200 g bacon (cooked and chopped)
  • 4 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 150 g gruyere cheese (shredded)
  • 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy, then remove and drain on paper towels.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the chopped onion until translucent and fragrant.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the beaten eggs, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  5. Stir in the cooked bacon, sautéed onion, shredded gruyere cheese, and chopped parsley into the egg mixture.
