Egyptian Spicy Meat Pie with Phyllo Crust

Ingredients
- 1 package phyllo dough (thawed)
- 500 g ground beef (cooked)
- 1 medium onion (chopped)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp cumin
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup parsley (chopped)
- 1 large egg (beaten)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the cooked ground beef, cumin, cinnamon, paprika, salt, and black pepper, mixing well to combine.
- Remove from heat and fold in the chopped parsley.
- Lay one sheet of phyllo dough in a greased pie dish, brushing it lightly with olive oil, and repeat with 4 more sheets, layering them on top.
