Ingredients

  • 1 package phyllo dough (thawed)
  • 500 g ground beef (cooked)
  • 1 medium onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup parsley (chopped)
  • 1 large egg (beaten)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the cooked ground beef, cumin, cinnamon, paprika, salt, and black pepper, mixing well to combine.
  5. Remove from heat and fold in the chopped parsley.
  6. Lay one sheet of phyllo dough in a greased pie dish, brushing it lightly with olive oil, and repeat with 4 more sheets, layering them on top.
