Ingredients

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 whole pie crust (prepared)
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract, and toss until the apples are well coated.
  3. Place the prepared pie crust in a pie dish and fill it with the apple mixture.
  4. Dot the filling with butter pieces and drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the apples.
  5. Cover the pie with another layer of pie crust, seal the edges, and cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
